Who is someone you admire? Why?

I have a great admiration for the courage and curiosity of exploration. Anthony Bourdain captured my admiration with his global travels leveraging the common need of food as a medium to learn about different people and cultures with such natural acceptance.

What is the coolest job you ever had?

I was a lead engineer on missile defense modeling and simulation for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. It was an amazing job as I worked as part of a brilliant team of mathematicians and physicists to model scenarios to protect U.S. troops from missile attacks. I was able to run thousands of Monte Carlo simulations to increase the accuracy of the modeled scenarios. Every day was a learning experience and the outcomes very impactful

What is your personal motto?

Learning is not solely about the acquisition of knowledge, it's about turning knowledge into action.
