FALLS CHURCH, Virginia—CATHEXIS, a management consulting company that delivers tailored, highly-skilled, and thoughtful data-driven solutions and services to leading federal government and industry clients, named several new leaders to further advance their client services.

“Throughout 2020 and early 2021 we made significant investments in our infrastructure, people, and systems to ensure we could continue to provide our clients, partners, and employees the high-quality experience and leadership they expect from CATHEXIS,” said Shawn Gundrum, CATHEXIS President and Chief Executive Officer. “We were honored to be selected by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as their industry partner on the Outreach, Transition, and Economic Development (OTED) initiative, and our new leaders and new structure will take us to the next level of high-performing organizations.”

New CATHEXIS leaders include:

  • Michael Chapman, Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Chapman brings nearly three decades of professional IT and innovation experience and will lead the company’s new shared services organization with a focus on technical delivery.

  • Mark Smith, Vice President of Transition Services portfolio. Smith will lead the delivery, execution, and growth of all projects and work encompassed by the VA OTED effort. Smith will be supported by Stephanie Miskell, a current CATHEXIS team member recently promoted to Director of the OTED Operations Center. Miskell spearheaded the company’s initial launch of the project and continues to lead its day-to-day operations.

In addition to its new leaders, Gundrum announced the promotion of Cate Dussek to Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.

“In addition to our current strong trajectory, I am looking forward to new and exciting ways these leaders will help us support our clients at VA, the Department of Defense, and throughout the government,” said Gundrum.
