CATHEXIS Supports Operation Gratitude Through Letter Writing

TYSONS, Va., Aug. 29, 2024 — As part of the company’s “CATHEXIS in the Community” initiative, CATHEXIS team members recently participated in a letter writing campaign supporting Operation Gratitude. In a display of community spirit and generosity, CATHEXIS exceeded the company’s goal of writing and sending 100 “Thank You” letters in support of the campaign.

Operation Gratitude provides opportunities for the American people to express their gratitude and show our military and first responders that what they do matters. Since 2003, with the help of our nationwide network of Volunteers, the charitable organization has sent a total of 4 million Care Packages meant to boost the morale and resilience of service members and give them warm reminders of home. The organization also supports a “Letter Writing” initiative, and during their participation, CATHEXIS team members drafted a total of 107 heartfelt letters of appreciation to military servicepeople.

CATHEXIS pledged to match each letter with a $50 donation, setting a budget cap of $5,000 for this initiative. However, the enthusiasm and participation from the team members led to surpassing the initial goal. Demonstrating its dedication to the cause, CATHEXIS increased its financial contribution beyond the planned budget and contributed a total of $5,350 to Operation Gratitude, in addition to the 107 letters.

These actions demonstrate CATHEXIS's commitment to supporting those who serve our nation. The success of this initiative displays the collective spirit of the CATHEXIS team and their shared values of gratitude and support for the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving others.
